GEMINI - MAY 22ND TO JUNE 21ST
GENERAL
Jupiter will still be in Pisces when the year begins and will move into Aries, forward into Taurus and back into Aries as the year progresses. Saturn is in Libra and will be all year. Almost at the beginning of the year there will be a solar eclipse on 4th January which is significant and will counter balance the lunar eclipse of 21st December 2010. The set of eclipses this year are predominately in Gemini and Sagittarius. Mercury will have gone back to normal so those of you wanting to buy at the January sales may find some good bargains. Your individual forecasts for 2011 will tell you what kind of year it will be. The world is changing all around us and if there is one thing that applies to everyone is be ready for changes. Nothing can ever stay completely the same as much as some of us want it to and with two mutable signs governing the eclipses that indicates ebb and flow of change. The economy is also likely to have that ebb and flow too but there will be a lot of changes within government likely too at this time. Saturn in Libra will try and establish a good balance.
For many Geminis 2010 was not a great year. Yes there were some good moments but with 4 retrogrades of their ruling planet Mercury things kept stalling and there was no real progression that could be consolidated properly This may heave led to frustrations. Also people may not been as helpful as they first appeared and that gave cause for concern too.
2011 will begin with Pisces still in your career zone and should kick off well as the solar eclipse should give you a push if progress is related to a partnerhship. Jupiter in Pisces is only until 22nd January but you will have Uranus still around in career zone until March. In Aries Jupiter will give energy and should help consolidate a little more of the career area. There will be still alot of baggage to deal with from 2010 so not all smooth sailing. Some of you may not have really experienced any of the changes that the small visit of Jupiter in Aries made in 2010 and you will feel the affect this year.
Romance and relationships take on a serious tone this year and for those that are single the easy going relationship may be hard to find. More mature partners may be to your liking but they may be few and far between. Saturn in Libra will not make finding new partners easy. Relationships fare better in 2012. Yes a year away so not much help but for many it will not be in the forefront of your mind this year. Some of the difficulties from 2010 will require far more attention that looking for romance. That is not to say that there won't be any but it is not a great year for it. Those in solid relationships may find that the general fun element seems to be missing this year as Saturn really gets into serious mode and this may cause some problems (nothing that cannot be overcome with a little effort) but it won't have that light touch that has been fairly effortless maybe in the past.
Finances will be mixed with some good opportunities to make money but also caution in not getting into heavy debt either through complacency or the wrong attitude. Try and reform your dependency on others if that has been a problem of late. If you do strike it lucky with work then build on it as much as possible and pay down debt. Hobbies and other creative pursuits may have to be shelved this year as there are more serious tones. It's that word again "serious". For a mutable sign that likes to go with the flow from time to time, serious is not something that means fun. Unfortunately while there is certainly many areas with more social interactions, fun may not be what comes to mind. It is a necessity for you this year to make the best of opportunities and the more social the better in some ways but you will need to make sure you do not take on too much either. You don't want to make mistakes and jeopardise anything as the year may have volatile elements for some. Eclipses strangely work backwards through a sign so if you were born in late June then the start of the year will be more intense and for those in May the end of the year will affect you most.
